As I pass by this building, a sadness enters my heart. This is my beautiful college cafeteria which serves very delicious shrimp, Chinese pancakes, and sandwiches. Again and again it closes temporarily due to the university’s latest regulation of shifting to online classes. Not many students come to the college at this time. It stands lonely in the schoolyard, only listening to the sound of leaves swaying in the wind and the sound of rushing water. No business or jobs for the staff. The social wounds of the pandemic in Taiwan seem unhealable.. (2022/5/22)
